Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married in an unofficial ceremony in December. After she had converted to Judaism and they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is famous for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from the Gemini Awards. In 2009 Silk was a part of the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode and broke the news to fans of the series in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
